Go and support your local library. If you haven’t been in a while, go and see what is available. It is still FREE to join (id needed) and opens up a whole new world to anyone who wants to explore the shelves (real or virtual). Can’t get in today? Join online. :-)

Go and ask the staff what YOUR local library offers in 2013. You might find more than you expected.

  1. Awesome post, I enjoy our library so much, they just moved and did a full overhaul. A wonderful place to use the computers, read while learning, and also get to know the community you live in and around. Thank you, for this post.

    • Many thanks for the comment and follow. I’ve worked in public libraries for 20 years and feel they are such an amazing resource. It amazes me how many people assume they have to pay to join…they have been free in the UK since the 1800′s…and to those that don’t use them, try and encourage them to discover what they are missing. :-)

PS just followed you on Goodreads too
